Videos: Pair of Jet Skiers Rescued Off of Sebastian Inlet

There’s no quicker way to be humbled than to venture deep into the open ocean woefully unprepared for what what Mother Nature can throw at you. It’s happened to many (if not most of us in one way or another), and for two friends riding aboard a yellow Sea-Doo Spark, today was that day.

here's a hint or two for stuff you need to have handy when on a jetski

1-flare gun-perfect to get help in populated areas when in _real trouble_
2-VHF radio-perfect to call for help on the emergency frequency
3-GPS that allows you to give coordinates to rescue craft
    4-bottle of drinking water
    5-Folding paddle

one good wave can roll you over. can you in deep water right your ski and remount it. Harder to do with two people

practice and push ups strongly suggested

I was out at the inlet that day. There were quite a few ski's and surfers out.

If the time stamp on the video is correct, they were out near/past sundown. Could've been bad if no one had spotted them.

Oh, and we've had reports of a great white shark in the area lately..
