RXT-X 260 2011 Pulling engine need some help.

I have a project ski that I need to pull the engine. I have the engine ready to come out except I think I need to pull the pump to get the engine out. Is this correct? Problem is the one was malfunctioning and is stuck in reverse which makes removal of the pump much more difficult, or so it seems. Any help is greatly appreciated. Also, any recommendations for where to purchase service manual?

    Pull pump, pull driveshaft out.

You can do it if your careful. Lift the engine a tad and move it ahead clear of the driveshaft.

I've done it in this manner several times due to not being able to remove a rusted shaft to carbon ring. Lift engine a tad of engine mounts then I remove the engine mounts all together. Move engine forward and tap driveshaft back since it always pulls shaft along with engine. Once clear of shaft remove as usual. Some oil usually spills in bay but nothing crazy. Good luck.

Forgot to mention , must remove seat completely or you run the risk of breaking stuff..

Got the head pulled. Main problem is plug is broke off off in head. Looking for an opinion on the overall condition of the head/valves.

Depends how picky you are, just going by age for sure there are leaks around those valves, for sure the exhaust valve guides are worn.

So what does Chris charge for a head rebuild? Or better yet a full engine/supercharger rebuild?
