    Info needed on lucky13 cone please

    Looking for rpm info on cone: how much rpm drop when you just install cone only and then how much rpm drop per millimeter of spacing . Thanks Todd Team TSR

    Correct me if I'm wrong but I dont believe their is any linear formula, as it's a combination of spacers and venturi nozzle diameter that dictates rpm loss.

    Yeah it's really gonna depend on nozzle size, impeller and even how much power the ski is making. I try to run the widest nozzle possible and then stack it with the spacers. As it turns out, on my set up with a 161 pump and 3 blade with a 85.5 nozzle I cant run any spacers but just the cone by itself eliminates any cavitation out of the hole. Gonna try a 87mm nozzle next season and my expectation is for it to pick up a ton of acceleration but keep the same top speed cuz of the cone. It's great.

    Todd, that would depend entirely on the mods of the ski and the pitch of the impeller, but generally around 300 RPM

    I have not played with it to much. But what i have found with my not so accurate testing. was on a stage 2 RXPX 2016. solas 3 blade. I lost RPM with all the shims on the cone. Went to just cone and i gained back about 280rpm.
    on that setup a stock cone worked the best. at least for the prop pitch and for my area.

    However I would not really consider those numbers. As I only tested it once and not in ideal conditions. To many variables.
    Plan is to be testing this cone on my rxtx stage 2. ill try to do it all in 1 day.
    Testing part 1 -stock prop-
    1) stock cone
    2) L13 cone only
    3) L13 with 1 shim
    4) L13 2 shims
    5) L13 3 shims

    then another day (part 2) to run my 3 blade solas and do the same testing. stock cone then L13 in all 4 configurations. with speed numbers and RPM

    this testing wont happen for about a month or so. maybe in January. again it will only be my results for my area, my temps, elevation, humidity ETC...
    Im hoping by that time, ill get a good GPS unit to record my testing.

    1) Vbox Sport
    2) a second gopro (hero 7) or a 360 cam.
    3) a DJI drone (but i don't think this one will happen... i was more naughty then nice...)

    When you loose the rpm so with speed....
    I went from a 14/19 to a 15/21 lost 600 rpm and 4mph
