RXP exhaust mod
I saw this on Jame Crone's www.singlepipe.com I wonder if this mod is available now, or? Anyone have any input on this?
New Dominator 1 in testing phase for Sea-Doo RXP: 9/10/04
We have commenced testing of the new Dominator 1 exhaust system for Sea-Doo RXP and GTX SC watercraft. Initial results are showing a 10-12hp gain at 2000 to 8000 rpm (and a broader torque curve within the same rpm sweep) and a 150 rpm increase over stock at peak speeds (8150-8175 rpm peak). This has resulted in a 1.5 to 2 mph gain in top speed as well as much improved throttle response and mid range acceleration using our pre-production exhaust components. We are in the long term testing stages and product release is scheduled for March 2005. Stage two and stage three Dominator kits will follow shortly thereafter.

don't want to bombard the company with e-mails, but did Vern or anyone else send them an e-mail and check progress and potential release dates?

The last I heard, James Crone is pretty much out of the modding business. Jarrett talks to him fairly regularly, so maybe he will chime in here.

Shibby, I have not emailed or called James ... he has always had a good reputation, I am curious if Jarrett knows anything. I would think if he still offered something for the RXPs Jarrett would have already heard maybe ...

If he has anything, I'll get the scoop. He lives in my neck of the woods.

Personally, I wouldn't spend 2 cents on anything that chop shop has messed with. If anyone wants to know "my" experience with this one man band, drop me an email.

Based on the pressure from the EPA and other personal issues, I think he is completely out of the PWC business at this point.

See thats the shit that starts trouble. Someone to be so shortsighted as to call the EPA on someone else to get them introuble ends up in the EPA putting more restrictions on ALL of us. Even though i don't belive any of our exhaust mods make any difference in emissions. Then again noise pollution is also a serious concern. People need to think first then speak. I would be very interested in any mod claiming to improve top speed by 1-2mph and have a better tourque curve.
