Im sorry but am I not that only one here that's not impressed with foot well drains. Maybe on the seadoo TX's where the wells hold 20 gallons but Yamaha no matter what's in them as soon as you take off they clear. And on hot days I tilt and fill mine up before we take off so my feet don't cook while were idling....

Some watercraft are stored outside, where rain (or even melting snow during winter) can accumulate in the footwells, creating problems with mold/slime, dirt rings, damage to the paint/finish or traction mats, etc. Hopefully the footwell drains minimize these problems.

In cold weather and/or cold water, it can be nice to have the footwell self-drain while cruising or riding in an area where hard acceleration is not possible. Marina, around docks, slow speed zones, etc.

I will be installing some sort of system on all three of my machines this winter. All of them stay on unroofed drive on lifts and even though they are covered water still collects from rain through the cover. My GP already has water blisters under the paint in the foot well.

Working on one for my 2018 RXTX300 dam footwell must accumulate minimum 20G each side , problem might be water flowing back because drain needs to be at the lowest point water collects and that point is under the water line so water nights/will back flow, but a small pump might fix that, just adds more cost the the idea.

All tou need is a one way check valve so the water can only flow out and not in
