    230 challenger

Other than pistons and cam, what other internal mods would need to be done to add a 300 super charger to a 155 engine.
besides the pro cover machine work

also it being a boat I can put a larger inter cooler in if that would help
    thanks for any info

Be cheaper and easier to find a 300 longblock and go from there.

You're looking at $2-3k in parts; pistons, injectors, flywheel, ecu, tune, pto, pto-mod, charger ..things I'm forgetting.

Really not worth it.. Perhaps upgrading a speedster 150 with a 215hp to 300hp is easy to do so and would be much faster.

    What kind hp would a 1503 with a 300 supercharger make ?

155 to 300 conversion is not a good idea, if you want more power grab a complete 260 setup which will be much cheaper than a 300. You could then add et137 wheel to the 260 charger which would put you at stock 300 level.

Keep supporting mods in mind once you go above stock boost.

Much simpler if you had the 215hp version of that boat.

What I have is a pair of low hour 155,s
and from what I understand a set of pistons and a cam are the only things that make the long block different from the 215/255/260

im looking for 600 hp or more
so if I had the 215 I would change the charger out to a x charger and injectors
my idea was to go right to the 300 charger/injectors
    pto mod / flywheel
I realize it will be about 3500/per engine
i would also use a large external intercooler as opposed to the stock 215 internal type
    4 inch intake
and weld up an aluminum intake
but is there a map or tune for the 300 charger on a 1503

You'll also need 2 x ECU's if you can get them programmed correctly... If you install an AFR unit, you can have a tune dialed in for your application.. I think you'll be up more then $3500 an engine with poor reliability afterwards.

If I lose reliability I would go a different route
so your saying nobody offers a tune for that combo ?
