2015 fx sho performance stats
Tested one out this evening on smooth water, approx 65 degree air temp. Full tank of gas, trim up. Rpm's steady at 7500. Boost guage tee'd in steady max 7-7.5 psi. GPS showing just trying to bounce off 64mph. I weigh 250#.
Does everything seem ok? I thought it should be a bit faster?

Hi myself
i was asking the same question on open discussions page, I just wonder what the real world MPH figures are for the fxsho?
I have a few mods don’t know what you have but MPH seems to be wildly different on this form, anything from 64-71!! Depending on a few stock or stage 1, some claim 70 mph stock?. And 70mph with mods so I do wonder what to expect.
cheers Al
Hi guys,
i have a 2009 fxsho, with a few mods,
1/ FF air filter and filler around air intakes out
2/ FF exhaust
3/ svho Intercooler
4/BOV and engine breather
5/ ribbon deleat
6/ newly fitted wearing
7/ newly fitted solas prop 13/22R
8/ candoo gps
9/ pump wedge that I haven’t fitted as I am worried about handling, should I be?.
10/ off set worx pump cone
Before I fitted new wearing and prop it was touching 66mph, and I haven’t got out since new prop etc, henceforth why I ask the question.
will i see 68mph?. 70mph?.
Or or what what should I expect?
would really appreciate your thoughts
thanks in advance

Well, this one is 100% stock. So with some breathing mods and you doing 66, that must mean yours was also about 64 stock. Can anybody else chime in here with real numbers? Specifically boost, is the boost where it should be?

My SHO was 66.4 out of the box. It is a 2008. With similar mods listed above I was seeing somewhere around 70 to 71. I can't remember exactly. I do remember the stock number though as a friend bought his new one week after mine and his was 67.1. I thought it was strange to have them so close and one being .7 MPH faster.
You will need something to bypass the boost limiter though unless you keep the RPM's under 7550.

My 2008 mildly modded sho is mid to high 60’s highest I saw on gps is 70.1 and 69.6, normally 68 that’s on an etrex 10
mods are solas prop, 13/22, worx intake, riva straight exhaust, ribbon delete, billet throttle body mount, upgraded air filter in stock box, ski has nearly 200 hours almost all are salt water hrs.
i don’t think I will see anymore without a reflash, rpm on stock gauge is bang on 7500 as far as I can see but I thought limiter was 7800?

For a stock machine and in the conditions you mentioned, those numbers seem right to me.
