    Triton torsion to spring swap

I recently picked up an older elite single with the torsion axle but the axle snapped and is rusted out. Is it possible to swap back to springs mainly for cost and I have someone local that has one Click image for larger version.

Are you going to pay for the frame welding to mount the leaf springs?

Is the leaf spring assembly ready to install and use, including good wheel hubs?

A new/replacement torsion axle is not super expensive, maybe a few hundred(ish).

Adding leaf springs includes making sure the spring mounts (and the axle) are correctly aligned with the frame.

I could not say whether the existing frame would need reinforcement where the leaf spring mounts would be added.

The spring mounts do not have to be welded to the frame, in fact, it's better if they're not. Visit They've got springs, sliders, square U-bolts, axles, fenders--everything you need to convert.
