We get some good heat...for about 1 month a year, lol. The ski is in nice shape for its age, previous owner was an older guy, he was a tool a die maker for GM, took pride in his work and his belongings.

I've had newer skis and older ones, I prefer the older ones. They have less stuff to go wrong. They run just as fast and the fun factor is the same.

I prefer older skis too. But ill ride anything i can get for cheap. I prefer to buy anything blown up. No reason buying a "good" running ski for 1k+ when im going to tear it down anyways and rebuild.

I dont use the Jpipe. Ive got 08+ exhaust. I didnt drill the exhaust, i had a machine shop do it. Turned out great. Only problem is going through AFR sensors every few rides because of moisture in exhaust.

The prop maybe closer to a 15/20 4 blade , depending on the tune and rpm limit

Great looking ski, like to see the old ones taken care of. Im partial to my 04 RXP.
    Very similar build to yours.
I think you need nore wire ties! (just kidding, the pic of the bolted intake manifold wit the bag of ties under it)

Interested in the results.....I think you will need a bigger [steeper pitch] prop..

Ran great all year long. Not 1 issue with it. My only complaint is the thru hull exhaust. Its fkn annoying after awhile. Think my best was 74mph, fkn weak. But the acceleration is amazing. For shits and giggles i asked some guys to race me. 2019 GP1800, 2017 RXPX260, 2019 Rxtx300. idle to WOT i smoked them all. The 260 was sleeping, gp and 300 were about 2 boats length behind me. Come to 70mph, the gp and 300 were catching up.

Past few weeks ive had a huge cavitation off line. Wear ring is mint still, carbon seal was new with build. Im swapping in my fiances 14/19 this week and testing to see how acceleration and top speed is. I think im going to need bigger than the 15/20 im running now.

Winter plans include: Light weight everything, flywheel, cam gear, balance shaft. Port the head and exhaust. 137+4 wheel. Maybe try a Torx racing tune with 80lb injectors.

Question is, do i swap this whole build into a 05 RXP hull i have, or continue with the RXT?
