    My 05 RXT build

Whats up everyone, thought I might as well do a build thread to document everything on this ski. This is my first personal 4stroke, ive worked on many of them, but never owned. Ive always been a 2stroke guy. Recently sold off my built XPL and RX. Anyways, heres what I have so far on this build. I had a customer contact me, asking if I was interested in buying his rxt that was blown up. We went back and forth for a few weeks. After I finally received pictures, we agreed on $400 for it.

Here it is when I first got it and then put onto work stand in my garage.

Rod broke, went through block. Orderd a good low hr bottom case / cylinder.

    Packages started arriving.

Riva waterbox / thru hull, Fizzle IC, X Charger. Also got all new bolts for engine, supertech valves, titanium retainers, springs. Everything in engine is brand new except the rods.

    Head back from machine shop.

    Lower end assembled

Won a Ritco Products seat cover off instagram contest and installed it.

As of now, im waiting to get a new starter. I got my 42lb injectors, riva block off plates, intake manifold plug. Riva intake grate, and waiting on my 4" kanaflex intake to get here.

Also debating on tune. Send ECU off for a tune or buy a maptunerx?

Any / all suggestions / criticism is encouraged as this is my first 4tec build.

Worked on many 4tec, never owned one. Always had 2strokes. But after pouring $$ and more $$ into my 951 XPL to try and get her faster and faster i said no more. One of my customers called me with this RXT for $400 and i jumped on it.

Been awhile since i posted. Been busy doing things to ski, have lots of photos now cant find them inbetween other project photos. Heres some.

Orderd a cheap catch can off ebay. Has a vent and in/out port. Block the out port. Plumbed it up and made a simple bracket to hold it underneath the seat tray.

Got my innovate AFR gauge and sensor. Drilled / tapped manifold, wired and installed it up.

Orderd a used open loop cooling kit. Got rid of all unneeded closed loop stuff.

Orderd new wear ring, carbon seat / hat, pump tool.

Still need to buff / polish / wax other side of ski. Need to order a Solas prop, not sure what size to go with yet maybe a 13/19?. Need to order a RRFPR, pump wedge, aftermarket riva ride plate and a maptunerx with tuning license.

Drilled / bolted my intake manifold together. I know i wont be near enough boost to worry about it. But i was bored waiting on parts for this build, my sons xp and my daughters gsx. So why not do it for peace of mind.

That's ski looks to be in really nice shape for its age. I guess in new York they don't see as much heat as in the south. Nice build.
