    RXT-X aS260 replaced battery now won’t start

was having problems with battery not holding a charge. Ski would crank and run great. But then 30min later wouldn’t crank due to low battery. Had the battery checked and it would not charge over 11V +/-. So I replaced the battery with new one. Now the engine turns over strong every time but won’t start. Seems like not getting any spark. When I turn the ski on I can hear the fuel pump running. So I assume it’s getting fuel. Any suggestion on how to troubleshoot this problem?

Did you boost it when the dead battery was in it?

    Check all the fuses.

when I hooked up the charger it was in boost mode but I changed it to trickle charge immediately. I never tried to start it with the boost. I did a visual check of the fuses but I will recheck with volt meter now.

Is it possible the charger/boost voltage polarity was hooked up to the battery backwards?

nope. I just checked all fuses with voltmeter all good. I also checked the output voltage at the voltage regulator and all three outputs are 11.2v with 12.2v going in.

3 outputs? The 3 yellow wires are from the stator. The others go to the battery. A failed stator won’t cause a no start.

Hooked up on boost mode. You may have done in your ECU.
