    Catch Can Options?

    Hi,

I am looking at putting in a catch can on my '16 PX.

I have just purchased a Riva Power filter kit that i am hopefully fitting this coming weekend and am reading that a catch can is recommended, Im generally all for spending the right money on the good stuff (hence the $650aud on the power filter kit) , but ive spent too much at the minute and need to slow down

Whilst the RIVA catch can seems like a great unit, over here in Australia it seems to run at about $220aud which is a bit out of my price range.

Just seeking what others have done for a cheaper option, im looking for something small, that wont rot out and rust inside the ski

    Would perhaps this work?

What the the fitting size -6AN, -8AN, -10AN mean, which size suits the seadoo hose i am thinking the first linked one will work??

    Thank you

Depending on your abilities/preferences, I did a DIY catch can.

The general guide I used: https://www.stevejenkins.com/blog/20...eather-system/

Run to the dollar store and buy a sippy cup and pack it with steel wool. Cut a smallish hole and cram the breather line thru it. I wish I was kidding

If you want to buy a ebay special you need a 3/4 hose or 12an

Power washer filter from Home Depot. $12 or so. Couple fittings, 3/4" hose and custom bracket to mount where you want.

You can even run it to a bilge fitting on the outside of the hull. I dont even run a can
