    Pump bearing removal

Tried to press the shaft off the bearing but it wont budge with 10 ton press at work. After looking at it closer it appears that I have to press down on the threaded part of the shaft and not use the tool. My question is what is the steel collar between the threaded part and the bearing? The new bearing does not have this collar and I did not see it in the parts diagram. Do I need to reuse the collar? Thanks in advance for any help!!!!

I have a new shaft and bearing but it does not have the collar like the old one. I was wondering if I need the collar from the old one, I have not seen any others with this collar, does not show on parts diagram. Thanks!!!

Yes reuse the collar or replace it. Your shaft is fine to reuse, the seal rides on the collar.

And yes you have to press on the threaded part. If your replacing it anyway set the bearing on a big socket and whack the shaft with a hammer.

Thank you for all the help!!!
Looks like it is a "Shaft Sleeve" or "Pump Collar", OEM #: 267000318, 267000048
$80-$110 depending on where you buy it.
What was throwing me off was that it wasn't showing up in any DIY videos or instructions.
For the price, I will just polish to a mirror finish.
Thanks again for all the help!!!
