    FZR SVHO not past 6500rpm

    My friends 2014 FZR does not go more than 6500 rpm.
    Also at top it seems to be slipping and making a different noise than normal.
    We checked normal things as boost hoses, prop, wear ring, oil level
    candoo can’t find an error.
    We are waiting for some new plugs to arrive but these are 20hours old and it runs good at idle.

    I only found some different data in the intake pressure and Throttle valve opening between his ski and mine...

    Your engine is a lot colder than his, this will change some of those readings. I have had 2 plugs go bad, one was not old. Both idled ok but would not make boost, rpm not much over 6K or so, and showed running lean. Misfiring plugs leave extra oxygen in exhaust and O2 readings will look lean.

    Sounds like he lost the supercharger clutch. Take the inlet off of the supercharger and see if you can turn the impeller both ways. If so the clutch is gone. This is the replacement he will need as well as gasket

    There's a video on here makes it look easy and I've done half of job just waiting for deliver of clutch to finish it off

    We have changed the plugs today.... is this in the picture normal?
    we gonna test ride it later today.

    Looks like you have had some water down there, that can definitely short out a plug and create a hidden miss that only shows up on full throttle. That is one of the things about fuel injection and electronic throttle control, it can hide a miss because it increases the throttle to get to normal idle rpm and the injection helps cover because the miss doesn't effect other cylinders like a carburetor unit can.
