Is a lost washer a problem

When removing the black plastic frame piece that the seat latches to one of the washer fell into the abyss. Can't seem to find it and was wondering if it can wind up in the pump or anywhere else it could cause a problem?

Man, that’d keep me up at night but then, I’m pretty uptight

(then again, right now it is 3:15am and I’m totally laid back (we gots us a real Supreme Court Justice yesterday #GoJusticeKavanaugh! so, WTF, why not lay back for awhile?, ha-ha! but, I digress ...

I’d get me one of these Flexible Magnetic Pickup Tools
, to try and get it outta there with.
If not successful after awhile, use a leaf blower or shop vac (on “blow”) to see if you can “move the washer around” to where you can snag it with the magnet. Rinse and repeat til you get that sucks outta there!

    Best o’ Success!

ON SECOND THOUGHT, I think the next one I get will have more exposed magnet, like this one:

Thank you very much for your reply, I appreciate it. A little cut up but I found it. Need to look at a parts diagram but it was under what feels like a scope under the divider panel the ECU is on.

Unless it fell down a spark plug hole or into the intake port It wouldn’t be worth me getting my hand dirty to pull it out. It won’t hurt anything, and it will work it’s way to the very back of the ski.

If it's stainless, a magnet won't work. Use an inspection camera, or your cell phone to try to spot it (don't drop your cell phone!).
