What rpms are you spinning? And you need a Jim's cut ride plate.

Before my rpm limiter was set to 8700rpm and i was hitting the limiter bad so dean said to bump it to 9200 and it stoped hitting limiter i know im reving higher than 8700 mby like 8800 or 8900

In the begining i had my limiter set to 8700 and it will hit limiter bad as soon as i will punch it but wen ill hit the gas slowly it will speed up to top speed so then dean set my limiter to 9200 so idk brotha maby i am around 8500 rpm but ive bought to tiny tach readers and none of them have worked for me

I quit wasting my money on the Tiny tach's and bought a Pet. Best money ($175) I have spent on the ski. Accurate within 10 rpm's, and updates 20 times per second. No more bouncing around!

I totally agree with the pet tach been using the same one for at least the last 18 years

Until you know what your exact rpm’s are it’s hard to say how fast you should be going. If indeed your turning 88-8900 you should be going faster but there are so many variables that effect speed like air and water temps, cavitation, boost leak etc

I have basically the same set up. With the type 14 and deans 8650 tune I was running 84mph. I ended up ditching the type 14 for a fizzle and it Made my life easier. Do you have any boost leaks or is the type 24 leaking? Mine was ever so slightly.
