GP1800 Dash problem, engine not firing up

A friend of mine took his GP1800 to a Seadoo mechanic after a roll over (just a few seconds upside down). He was told the the dash went bad and thats why the engine is not firing up after that. Sounds way too fishy to me but he is going to bring me the ski tomorrow for me to check it out. Any ideas?

Already has new plugs and oil.

    Thanks
    Jay

Sorry did not mention, engine turns over fine, just does not fire up. If it was the Security Key would not let it turn over

Will check, the weird thing is that it did fire up once, and now just turns over. Thanks

Check fuse panel for water or blown fuses.

Also check inside the handlebar control shrouds on each side for trapped water. Just a few screws holding the top cover to the bottom cover, then you can lift the cover off and inspect inside where the button switches are wired up.

The engine will crank even if the ECU is entirely unplugged (donít ask how I might know this ).

There is a large bundle of wiring right behind the back panel for the front storage area. Remove the white clips (press in the centers just a few mm) then remove the rear panel and check that none of the connectors hanging there are loose or wet inside.

Not sure exactly how it works I believe it’s like a pendulum, but check the—rollover protection switch

I'll blow air on all electrical plugs and clean them with electrical spray cleaner.
