    2003 185 engine options

    hey guys just blew engine on my 185 2003. wondering what engines options I can do? found a used 2005 185 decently cheap. everything should just bolt up and go?

    Normally these engines fail for 2 reasons. Exaust, valves break and pistons hit them and normally ruin the head and piston or the SC washers break and contaminate the oil and oil pumps get chewed up and then spin a c
    Rod bearing. Sea doo, changed the exaust, valves in mid 06 to better valves. If you get a pretty 06 motor it would be a good idea to change the exaust valves. Food for thought.
