It sure will be a lot easier to connect the air hoses.

It's going to complicate clutch and oil changes. And will simplify chain tensioner removal & installation. I wish they would have made a water cooled supercharger housing.

Nice to see this on the horizon. I had heard talks about this this past summer from my shop while they were finishing up my build which is primarily all Riva. I have the Gen 3 cooler for only half a season so far. I gotta read more about this new one but if the fitment and quality and performance all around are better then I will be upgrading hands down. Looks like they kept the flush port which is nice. The piping looks good but I'm guessing the bends don't really hurt anything. I'm thinking the new position is a benefit overall. If everything is mounted nice and solid I think it will be just fine. I'm wondering if it's about the same size core. Looks like they went away from being about to break down the cooler which is probably a good thing since I'm thinking most people didn't take advantage of....idk. Definitely interested. Just hope its not 1500 lol

What I not like will be the Price...I think 1,499 USD like the other ones because RIVA Products are always overpriced when you compare to lets say WORX...
The next thing is that the Pipes are to long which results in worst throttle response comparing to short Pipes...

Just spoke with Riva. I'm not going to quote them as to be fair to them but they did say this cooler would be more competitive in price and more efficient and just better build quality all around. That is what I got from them. Looking to release hopefully beginning around next season. Nothing set in stone but the jist is they wanted to improve the design to compete more and also improve price point.

Not sure how throttle response will be effected either. I would think it would still be ok to be honest. Not a bad question to ask but I think it will be fine since we aren't turbo.

I like that they are using the stock air box mount. Seems to be a pretty solid way to mount it.
