    How to Upgrade Jet Pump 250X to 300/310?

    Hey guys, just got the ski and came across about this jet ski pump. But no where can I get how to exactly upgrade it to the new version. Do I need to buy a pump listed under a 300lx or take it apart and replace the parts?

    It seems they have some crossed out parts and put new ones in. Is that what I need?

    I have found this kit on Ebay https://www.ebay.com/itm/Kawasaki-Ul...-/262934811340
    They say the instructions will be provided. Is this the best option and am I on the right track?

    You bet! I have used several of the KP kits. If you don't have a press or impeller tool you can also send your pump to KP and they'll do it for you.

    how many hours are on the ski currently?

    make sure you do all the other preventative maintenance items on it as well. there is a littany of issues that the machine had up until the 300/310 variant.

    I've been reading on some, but can't get many issues yet on what to cover.

    It's got a new supercharger.
    Ordered the kit for the jet pump to make it like the 300.

    What else would you recommend to change?

    Also I will need to do a break in once I rebuild the engine, is there break in oil you'd recommend for the engine?

    did you get the ski for free? if your having to rebuild the motor your going to be into it for more than the ski is worth.

    as for other issues, cracked heads, gas in oil.

    i wouldve walked away from the ski. if it needed a new supercharger that should have beena tell tale sign with such low hours.

    Didn't think it would cost that much on parts... In Canada, they cost much more than in the states unfortunately.
