To thru hull exhaust or not

I have a few mods to ski , and doing tune very soon , and Im kinda on the fence about doing thur hull exhaust , if there is performance to be gained ( or required for a 8350 tune ) I will do it , but if it only gives a better ( or more sound ) then that is not so important to me

mods so far / can I get some feedback to help me decide-- 2012 RXPX 260

Definitely worth it for the sound and looks alone. You won't see a performance increase though. The biggest benefit is you get rid of the plastic OEM exhaust components that are prone to burning through and leaking water into your hull. Plus, it cleans up the inside of the hull a lot.

Shop in the GreenHulk store and use the discount code: greenhulk at checkout and it saves you 10% off the listed price... plus, no sales tax like you'd pay if you shopped at Riva directly

Iíll second all of that, definitely cleans up the inside of the hull. For that reason alone I would do it again to my rxp.

There is 0 (Zero) performance gain from a thru hull exhaust.

If you go real wild with it you'll see some performance gain over stock but not with the riva kit

Thru hull and stock waterbox on my 260 rxt. Sounds great, and not much louder at cruise speeds.

I've had more than one person ask at the ramp "does that thing have a V-8?!"

Sounds great to me. I like the idea of it not sounding much louder (at cruise) with the stock water-box. I will add this to my list of mods to perform over the winter.
