    Supercharging a 1.8 NA motor

Not that that im looking to do this. But for conversation sake. Has any tried or talked about supercharging the NA motor. I know the are a little different internally but since they are the same block you would think someone has tried to bolt on a SVHO supercharger system on a NA motor.

N/A compression is too high...maybe if you run E85.

Yeah, I know compression is something to get around but not a major hurdle. Just surprised that we haven't seen more bolt on conversions. I mean take off parts are so readily available and they bolt right on so to speak.

SHO's all had cast pistons, only the SVHO's got the forged ones. Both are substantially lower compression than N/A engines.

Why go through the expense of doing that when you can buy a GP1800 with a warranty?
