    2009 FZS only hitting 60mph?

Hey guys, just picked up a 2009 FZS. Checked the supercharger and it only spins one way (which I believe is good). In any case, it only hits 58-59mph(phone gps) but the rpms are 7600-7700rpms. It has a lot of prop spin on takeoff. The prop is bent on the trailing edge. Will that affect almost 10mph?

Will definitely affect takeoff. Bent my trailing edge and noticed it considerably.

Is the rest of the ski stock or was it modded? And what condition is the hull in?

They only do 66 stock. a bad impeller / pump certainly can cause a 6 mph drop

Thanks. I broke two bolts removing the ride plate, so I cant get back on the water until the insert comes in. What prop should I use.

    Dino7
    Completely stock.

On a stock ski, I recommend a stock prop.

I plan on putting on a ride plate, intake grate, ppk and ribbon delete.

Youll be very close to the limiter with the ribbon delete. I still recommend the stock prop but you’ll want to run it with the mods and see what your rpms are on a digital tach to see if you need to tweak the prop.
