    Polaris Genesis cylinder temp?

Just rebuilt the motor in my Genesis. With the water hose on it at idle the center cyl is about 5-8 degrees warmer. Is this normal? Was using my temp gun .

Garden hose was connected to the reverse flush fitting? Or the main water feed hose?

The one that I use to flush the motor. It's mounted to the water manifold on top the heads.

That would be the reverse flush fitting.

It is not unusual for the cylinders to be unevenly cooled when feeding water into the reverse flush fitting on the water manifold bar.

For a newly rebuilt engine I suggest strapping it down to the trailer front and rear. Back it down the launch ramp until the jet pump is submerged. Now you can run it with the seat off and check hoses, temps, look for exhaust leaks, etc.

And you can apply some throttle. Make sure there is no loose debris under the hull that might get drawn into the jet pump.
