    GP1800 Prop Changes

So I have a stock 2018 Gp1800 with the stage 1 8300 tune on it. I noticed when maxed out I hit around 74-75 in gps with low tank and glass water..

I also bounce of my limiter pretty hard when I gun it from a deadstill and when I知 topped out I知 only getting about 7600 RPMs.

Would it be fine to just repitch my stock prop or buy a whole new one? Help me out haha

Solas 13/18 or 13/20 if you are doing more mods stage 2 or 3. Probably can get greenhulk discount.

You may want to find out why you are bouncing on the limiter from standstill with a stock ski with only the tune. Our new GP runs 7900-8000 rpm and 77 mph gps with just the stage 1 tune. Perhaps your grate or transom/rideplate are not sealed up correctly. Our GP leaps out of the water with no cavitation or bumping of the rev limiter.

The 18 or 20 number is top end. Before you go jumping to 20 you need more power or rpm to use it. In your case if you keep modding go 13/20. If your happy then the 13/18 is good. Either way a 13/18 can be repitched to a 20 down the road.

I think that you'll enjoy the 13/18 a bit more, it'll provide better acceleration which at least for me is more fun than absolute top speed, I mean there are so many times to just nut it and go compared to the opprotunities to have perfect water to hold it wide open to get every mph out of it, IMO.
