Check the 1 way valve on the tank.

2nd have you verified the cooling system is 100% free and clear as often critters can block it slightly causing less water.
3rd When's the last time the carbs were done and if you know...was it OEM kits ?

it seems to be moving plenty of water,Carbs just rebuilt, yes oem kits. does not show overheat can pull out plugs and hold them when it does mess up. one way valve works holds pressure and lets air in.

Could be a fuel tank vent (not sure if that's what you're referring to with the one way valve comment). Crack the gas cap and see if it helps.

Exhaust leak, perhaps? I wouldn't think it would take that long, but try riding with the seat off and see if you spot anything.

Did you check the vent line, or just the valve? The valve could be OK, but you could have a bug plugging the hose.
