2012 RXT-X doesn't start quickly
Hi all, I searched on the forum but I can't found a similar issue.
I have a 2012 RXT-X 260 ski and when I try to start it this action take a lot of time. The starter motor ran fine, sound like fuel doesn't came to the injector. I have to try 4 o 5 times to start it. After that the ski runs fine and never fails at low or high speed.
Do you know that must check?
Thanks in advance.
Regards.

After 2-3 failed start attempts, remove spark plugs and look if they are dry or wet. If wet, is it gas or coolant?

the ski is standard. When I put the key into the ski I hear the pump working fine and I can feel the fuel truth the hose when I touch it.
i do a test attaching the key and de-attaching it few times. I hear that the pump works fine. After few times doing this process I proceed to start the ski and it start fine at the first attempt.
Then when I ride the ski I don’t have any problems with fuel, I can ran at maximum speed without problem.
is posible that I have pressure issue on the circuit but only when i start the ski?
thanks in advance.

for whatever reason your fuel system is not priming up correctly
just make sure you let the fuel pump prime the fuel system up before starting
as far as what is wrong, my guess is maybe the check valve, weak spring on the fuel regulator
weak fuel pump or dirty fuel socks

You could test the fuel supply. Unplug all 3 ignition coil connectors. Lift up the fuel rail a bit(2 screws). But some paper towel in front of injectors nozzles. Run starter. Is it spraying fuel?
