    Who runs e85?

Just moved to MI from canada and now theres a pump down the road with e85, can the walbro 255 keep up? Thinking of a 9.5 piston engine build this winter and want to run it on the corn.

Many variables come into play. Injector size, boost, etc. The Walbro will keep up as long as you don’t push it past 70 psi fuel pressure.

Just remember you are going to burn approximately 30% more fuel so if you are running 1000cc injectors on gas, then you will need 1300cc injectors for e85.

vt1100s can get you close to 400hp on e85
IMO use bosch 1200s, they flow about 1300 at 58psi
always check your fuel before you dump it in
here in Mich winter e85 can get as low as e70
and its common to see e90 in the summer
the state does not check e85
and the local delivery truck driver is the mixologist
at low/no boost the motor will burn more e85 than gas, but no where near 30% more
only at max boost is where it needs that 30%
