2002 4 tec growling noise idling in water

Not my video but same exact machine and same exact noise. It goes away as soon as throttle is touched. No issues with the machine, runs perfect. Does not do it on the hose.
It seems to be normal for this machine just want a second opinion.

Had an 05 wake 155 that did the same thing. Never could find what it was. I had replaced the wear ring and the carbon seal/top hat, still did it.
Kinda annoying but didnít really effect performance.

My guess is still that itís something to do with the driveshaft.

I agree it sounds to be driveline related. I also have new carbon seal and hat, new pto boot assemble, new wear ring and have disassembled the pump and verified all good inside.
I wonder if alignment may be the root cause?
