2 Stroke registration in california? (Help Please)

Hi, a close friend of mine who lives in wyoming is looking to sell his 2018 SuperJet (registered in Wyoming) and he knew I was in the market for one so he asked me if I was interested. obviously this is the deal of a lifetime since I will be paying at most 7500 for a ski that has been ridden only 3 times (ever). With that, is there a way to legally register a 2018 two stroke engine in california? Any input/advice would be massively appreciated. Thanks
