2015 Yamaha VX

I’m in the market for a new ski. I’m looking at a 2015 VX that has 180 hours which seems high. What do you guys think? Anyone ride this model?

Hours aren't bad if it was maintained properly, but I would like to see some service records....

I sold my 2012 VX, this year, with a MR1 engine and it had 277 hours. It ran perfect but it received an oil change every 25 hours and plugs 50 hours, a season's riding, along with other maintenance checks. It also wasn't really run hard but more cruising. Wife just wanted an FX for a smoother ride. As mentioned, if maintained well, it should be fine. Give it a good checking over, definitely an on the water test, not just the hose, and then a compression test if still questioning.

its alot of hours for a 2015, but I have seen 800 hours put on 2008 and 2010 VX cruisers before with no problems. I would just ask for the maintanence records and make sure it was well maintained before purchasing. you can find 2015 Vx cruisers out there for sale with about 60-80 hours on them on boat trader.

Someone near me, i almost bought it, too slow, sold a 2015 with 12 hours on it with a nice Triton wc1 trailer for 6k. Just a guide.
