    2018 GTI SKI PYLON install

Has anyone installed that ski pylon to there new 2018 GTI? It looks like the stock tow hook is removed for mounting? I would like to pull a tube still would I use the pylon while itís all the way down to pull a tube and in up position to pull wake/knee board. Is this installation fairly easy? Thanks

Should be something about this in the manual,no? There was a post about someone ripping the pylon off of the mounting while towing a tube...

In the manual, do not use the pylon for towing a tube.

Page 44 - Safety Information - Ski/Wakeboard Pylon (WAKE Pro model)
CAUTION - Never use the ski pylon to tow an inflatable tube. Always use the rear cleat for towing an inflatable tube.

Interestingly in the clip for the 2019 range, just released, in the first few seconds they show a GTX Limited 300 towing an inflatable off the pylon!

Do as I say, not as you see SeaDoo do.
