    Holy crap Supercharger from hell!

Hi everyone, has anybody ever seen the gear of a supercharger eaten by the starter double gear. The starter double gear in which the supercharger gear rides on is stripped flat to the bone... The slip test on it was like new at 11Nm. Flywheel bolts are tight. 1 engine mount was loose but can't see it being the cause.

Any thoughts would be appreciated on this.

The correct amount of teeth? The 185 chargers had different flywheel/ supercharger ratio.

Its a 215hp engine and it has 16 teeth as per 215hp engines. I don't believe the 185 gear or flywheel with fit with the 215/260 and vise versa..

I just had the same exact thing happen. The sc. Bearing locked up and sheared all the teeth off the flywheel. A ton of metal to clean out of the crankcase.

Odd.. The supercharger is spinning freely. The bearings where fine, intact and spinning freely..
    What else can it be?
