anyone successful using an oil leak sealer on super charger seals

I have a possible oil leak in a supercharger on one 08 rxpx. found some oil in my intercooler
checked all intake hoses and nothing till the intercooler. all are dry.
not sure where its coming from. found one drop on the intake of the SC when i pulled the hose. The output hose seems dry inside... go figure?

my question is can i add a leak sealer to my oil? will it harm the SC clutches?
i only have about 75 hrs on this ski and its too soon for a rebuild.

Spend the money and rebuild the charger. Few hundred could possible save you a few thousand.

i have 2 skis and im not ready to dump $800+ to rebuild them prematurely. i wonder if its just build up of vapor over time. i would say 1/2 tsp oil....hard to determine since water was also in there from leaking intercooler.
i just cant figure out where oil is coming from.

It sounds Like this SC needs a Professional Rebuild. Specially Since this SC's Came with those Gold Washers and where Known to Break and Potentially Destroy the Motor with it. IF this was my ski, I would Purchase a New One and Be Done. Or Send your SC Here to Jerry and have it Rebuild it, Professionally Done N fast Turn around.

first i have heard of these "gold washers" failing. everything i read 2008 and up used metal washers and solved the failure problem.
Thanks for the heads up... going to look into rebuild sooner than budgeted... sucks because i have 2, 75-80 hrs only

i see gold clutch washers on some NEW rebuild kits... WSM 010-102K... some pics look silver but others are defiantly more gold than any of the other washers in the kit. could they be titanium? also some kits have a black seal and some w the newer brown viton seal. yet wsm are using the exact same part number when listing the kits.

You can replace the seal without rebuilding the supercharger. But if it has 75 hrs on it and the seal is leaking, I would go with a full rebuild. Its due at 100 hrs. I would not use any oil leak sealer.
