    Gp 1800 venting

Has any one done anything to help get more air into the hull using the 2 front vent tubes. They are pretty much covered by the over laying cowl or plastic pieces. On my previous rxp I used frog skinz... Any thoughts for the gp1800

If you ride with the seat off, does it run any faster or deliver higher sustained RPM?

If no improvement with the seat off then the engine is not being limited by fresh air supply?

I actually put a couple flo-rites in the front seat portion of my vxr, and gained a few rpm, and feels like it vents out heat better.

While testing my fx i will get a overheat alarm. I went ahead and vented the fx hull by drilling holes in particular places, and allowing fresh air to recirculate. Not only did i pick rpms but never overheated again. This new skis are pretty sealed, anything helps
