    Two rings vs 1 ring

Can someone please explain why some aftermarket pistons for the ultra 150 have two rings and some have 1. What does everybody run?

Really? What brand? Of course, I'd never run aftermarket pistons in an Ultra 150 engine anyway...

Usually a single ring piston was classed as a racing piston because of less drag from the second ring missing, and had to be replaced frequently. Not really a wise investment for someone wanting long term reliability, and unless your looking for every last once of power, not worth it.

I have never seen a single ring piston for the ultra150, please post some links... even the wesco pistons are dual
