Holding on the seat with no straps

    Hi
    i am new
    have a 2016 Yamaha VX 3 place

The passenger 2 and 3 have nothing to hold on to but the person in front of them. My old SeaDoo hasd straps across the seats to hold on too.

Why did Yamaha not think that itís kinda dump holding on to the person I like the strap itís would be like riding a bull.

is there a way anybody added straps or any after market kit?

    thanks
    bill

Ha! That's funny, Bill! You scoff at all the old stuff and are enamored with new technology!

If you want something to hang onto, some of the old Waverunners had grab handles.

There were two designs, a stationary version that is still available: Grip, Assist, p/n FJ0-63771-30-00

I prefer the older design that is mounted on a swivel: Grip, Assist, p/n FJ0-63771-00-00 These are no longer available, but there are some used ones on Ebay. I installed some of these on my old Kawasaki STS 750s. I've got some that I may install on my Ultra LXs someday. Just have to get more experience with them and see if people want me to install them.

I also have a waistband device that has grab handles on it. It works, but it's a little awkward when wearing it over a life jacket. My wife prefers to just hold onto the shoulder straps of my life jacket--or ride her own 'Ski!
