    Just my luck...can't win.

So today when I went to the dealer to talk to my tech friend about dialing in the cam. While I was in there, the service manager approached me and the conversation went like this.

manager: Hey Mark, remember the '17 RXP you put back to stock because the exact same mods you put on your 300 rxtx only ran 81?

    me: yea, what about it?

manager: Well, he brought it to us and did the same stage 3 kit plus cam on it.

me: really, that's cool, how did it run?

manager: You know how the speedometer only showed 85 mph?

me: yeah, it was always off two miles per hour.

manager: He BURYS the freakin' needle, that ski is easily running 86-87 mph.

    me: figures....

Why the hell can I not make any of my skis run like that? LOL.

Oh well, back to the drawing board.

Agree, sounds like he’s trying to sell you a stage 3 kit and a cam. From your other thread, I think he succeeded.

While I can't say he's not exaggerating, he has no reason to do so. He's not selling me the cam and the installation is free (my bodyshop does all their work, I've helped them out so many times, he's not charging me) Point is, he has no reason to lie.

I know the speedometer on that ski was 2 miles per hour faster than GPS. The tech (who rode it originally) said while he didn't have his GPS with him, the needle buried itself at 85. Perhaps it was running only 85 (83 GPS) but guess I'll never know.

All I do know, is my ski isn't running for shit.

Just for shits and giggles, why is it out of the question he's running that fast. I've had numerous people in this forum including Riva telling me my RXTX should be running 85-86 with my setup. Why isn't it possible that he's running those speeds with my setup plus cam?

    Mark
