i changed my ride plate then went out and tested it and only went 53mph on the candoo, 2017 fxho, now im wondering if i didnt tighten it enough. it was about 68 degrees in cold salt water full tank of fuel, i weigh 190 and my son was with me 60lbs.

it had a stock 2017 fx ride plate, i installed a 2019 cut by deans. A friend did suck up some shells riding it in a shallow area a few months so I do need to check the prop also, but it hasnt gone that slow. but maybe that combined with cold salt water. Also it was the first time i rode it in these cold conditions.
