2005 RXP Stage III Header/Manifold meltdown HELP
I was running really well at the lake today when my ski got a little louder than normal. I popped the seat off and everything looked ok. I went directly back to the dock (about 2 miles) when my left calf started getting really hot...... When I got back home and took the ski apart I found that it torched the stock manifold and the stock pipe flange was completely broke all the way around. My question is what do I do? I don't want to put stock parts back on just to have this happen again. Why did it get sooooo hot?
Any advise is appreciated...

Possible that your cooling inside the exhaust manifold was restricted...or maybe the supplly line itself. Just guessing, but something got hot!
Now, with that said, a bunch of stock manifolds have broken at that flange. One guy on here has a repair service for them using SST.

I just had mine done but I got a Hi temp warning and might not have had my j pipe break as much as your sounds like
Excellent manifold work.
Guys it is looking like this mod might be a must for those running SCIII and B-kits either that or make sure your intercoolers and plumbing are working and clean

manifold
check the inside of the manifold and make sure the heat did not melt through the waterjacket at cylinder # 3 because then you won't be able to repair the manifold with a ss sleeve. your problem is most likely that you are not getting enough or no water to the manifold or cloogged line. check all hoses for cracks. make sure they are all attached. especially the rear buttom waterintake to the manifold

The photo on the left is his j-pipe which was cracked...the other is the manifold which had a meltdown. The weld bead on the j-pipe is on top of the crack , not penetrated , if you sink the weld level on double walled pipes you will run the risk of restricted flow as you suggested.
