gtx shaft question
I tested my gtx 4tec today and it was stuck at 7000 rpms. it would not go over 61. i have not changed the shaft to the rxt. i have a solas gtx impeller now.
the changes i made include external inner cooler, riva sc wheel, short box mod, thru hull exhaust. (major ones)
my question is what is the reason for switching to the rxt stuff?

You should be turning 7600 and at least 65 - 66. something is wrong. Have you checked for a leak in the inter cooler plumbing? Do you have a boost gauge? What impeller are you running? The RXT shaft is larger the splines are bigger. With the RXT shaft you can run the steeper pitch impellers.
