Nitro Method for Checking Honda Oil level
Nitro method for checking oil level
"Best way is to level the engine and check the oil after setting overnight with the dip stick in the lower REAR sump hole (by the turbo)"
This will give you the most accurate readings.

Let the ski sit without running or cranking all night and check the rear hole? The rear hole is smaller so you don't thread the dipstick in correct? Just set the dipstick in the hole and remove? To make sure the ski is level can you just put a level on the rail outside of the foot-well area? My friend bought a 2004 R-12x and it keeps flashing the oil light whenever he gets the thing opened up. He changed the oil and put on a factory oil filter and the problem has persisted. Next move is to change both of the oil pressure sensors (we think)...Any advice?
