quick d-plate question
hey fellas, i put my stock exhaust back in at the travis ride and i noticed that the "D" was facing down.. does it matter if the d is facing up, down, port, or starboard?? is there a best way to have it facing?

Is it even possible to put it in with the D up? If so that has me worried that I may have mine upside down. I don't remember how I put it in there lol.

Actually I came across the very same thing, on my 2005 it fit 2 different ways. D down is the correct way.

I think it is impossible to get it wrong, at least on my 03... there are 2pieces sticking out on same side of the bolt that go into both sides of your pipe...finger type deals so you don't put it upside down...like the reed valves they design them so you can't do it wrong.

Yes On The 05 It Cannot Go In More Than One Way
