My rear air for my 2018 rxtx. Easy build and inexpensive

I wanted to share with you my rear air that I just fabed for my 2018 RXTX 300. It really was pretty simple and cost well under $100 to build. I love the Riva intake, however 500 bucks is just to steep for me. I built a rear air for my 2016 RXPX 300 and it worked great. You can really here the supercharger with a rear air.

I decided the air intake would come underneath the rear seat. A lot of time I ride by myself and as you know the rear seat can me removed. As you can see in the photo I used a 4" frog skin to cover the hole. I did reallize the rear seat would be used from time to time, so I put 7 one inch holes in it. The back of the 4" air intake hole is about 1" in front of the seal for the rear seat. The only componets used were the following

    Supercharger adaptor to 4"

About 2' or so of Kanaflex

    4" Frog skin

I do plan upgrading to componets from Silicon Intakes, And will update this posting later.

I will be riding this weekend on the Colorado river and will post results. With and without the rear seat on.

I will be hooking up with Rich ( Wicked Sea Doo ) So it will be a good time!

Any one in the Laughlin, Needles, Havasu area this weekend let me know

Pirate Cove is off the chain on the weekends!

I am using the stage 2 Riva IMUK tune. Is that what you are using?

Nice job , I love the rear air on my px300 . Sounds good , cheap , easy to install and slightly better performance over running the kannaflex to the front . Even riding ocean chop and wave jumping I’ve had no issues with injestion
