    From what it looks like to me you are still drilling through the rail under the rub rail. Its a shame there isn't another way or just attaching them to the rail.

    Thanks for the clarification about the rubrails. The Instructions that sea doo put out still weren't that clear... I think I may give it a shot. Wondering if it makes sense to remove the rubrail and install while its off of the ski to avoid any risk of drilling the hull
