    Looking for recommendations...western WI

    We usually ride on the St Croix River. Dam water is too high to ride. Any good recommendations in the area for riding? Would like good use of sandy beaches to stop.

    I ride the Mississippi around Prairie Du Chien. Have been up as far as Lake City and south just past Dubuque.
