Water ingestion, worst case...
I once snapped 2 rods and cracked the block in a car due to a freak flash flood (at idle). Is this a concern in the 4-tech platform, with or without the stock air intake?

bcon:
I have flipped my ski (04' RXP) a few times, rolled it back upright, and everything was fine.
I think the stock intake is very good at keeping water out, but the rear intakes are more susceptable to water injestion.
I guess it really matters what type of riding you tend to do.
I ride on Lake Superior alot, and there is no way I would put a rear intake on my ski, just because of the unpredictable nature of the waves, and the un-announced soaking you get from time to time.
If I were riding on flat water, I would get the rear intake set up in a second.........
