IL River/Chicago ?

Well I made the plunge back into PWCs and picking skis up tomorrow. I used to put in at Morris and ride between Dresden and Marseilles locke. I have a friend on east side of Dresden at Harbor side Marina trying to talk me into putting in at Big basin this weekend and ride east side of Dresden. That lock can be a major pain and don't want to worry about clearing it.

Does anyone have any experience riding east side of Dresden and Kankakee river? Is there a lot of riding area or just a couple miles each way? Any information would be appreciated.

Decent area of riding on the Harbor side marina area. Nothing worth while east of the Basin/55 bridge. My family had a place at harbor side for yearsss til the new owners did...."improvements"
