Will the Fizzle 300 intercooler fit in an RXT-X 260

    Hey yaw,

Has anyone tried installing a 300 intercooler into a RXT-X 260? In particular the Fizzle Super Cooler, but i'm assuming if an oem one would work so would the fizzle.

I'm sure you could make anything work.. personally I'd stick to a f1000 cuz its smaller, lighter, holds less water and racing at 22 psi I still never found the limit of that thing

The F1000 would fit better/easier. The F1000 is incredible, really, you can throw anything at it and no heat soak at all.

I have a fizzle now not the 1000 but my air intake temps are still like 93-96 when lake temps are 87-89 so I just want something that can at least keep the air at what the lake temp is.

Not possible unless the intercooler is a mile long to give the, very fast and hot, passing air time to cool down that much. There's a fine line between how large the intercooler is and the resulting exit air velocity. At some point the benefit of cooler air diminishes due to reduced velocity, the intercooler becomes a bottle neck.
