Ultra 150 question
Folks, I have a person at work who is bugging me to death about his Ultra 150. It's a 2003 with 8 hours on it. From what he says it runs great, but the max read-out on his dreamo is 44mph. I keep trying to tell him not to worry about the dreamo, but he's pretty bound and determined. I'm not at all familiar with the system on the 150. Is there anything to check or try so I can get this guy to leave me alone
Thanks

yes there is. When i had my 150 the little paddle wheel mounted at the transom would stick all the time. Even when it was cleaned out. I ended up replacing it becuase mine was giving me some wacky readings.

Thanks folks. I'll tell him to try moving the wheel down and make sure it spins free.
Already told him to ignore the speedo and get a GPS, but he didn't like the idea

If someone won't spring for the $89 that a Garmin E-trex GPS goes for these days, they should be left thinking their ski is only running 44 mph, or whatever the speedo says.
